Longbeach Village

Longbeach Village is the historic north-end settlement of Longboat Key and offers one of the most distinct living environments on the island. Originally established as a fishing village in the early 1900s, the area retains an “Old Florida” character with a mix of cottages, bungalows, and newer custom homes built on original platted streets.

Unlike master-planned or gated neighborhoods, Longbeach Village feels more like a small coastal town. Residents are drawn to its walkability, local dining spots, and proximity to north-end Gulf beaches. Because of the age of the area, buyers should pay close attention to elevation, flood zones, and redevelopment constraints tied to older parcels and infrastructure.
